SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL October 25, 2022 8:30 AM SPECIAL MEETING & EXECUTIVE SESSION ADDISON CONFERENCE CENTRE 15650 Addison Road, Addison, TX 75001 STONE COTTAGE 4901 Addison Circle Drive, Addison, TX 75001 Notice is hereby given that the Addison City Council will conduct a Special Meeting on Tueday, October 25, 2022 at the Addison Conference Centre Complex and Stone Cottage. A quorum of the governing body will be physically present at the Stone Cottage. The Special Meeting will be called to order and then the Council will convene into Closed Executive Session to conduct intereviews with city manager candidates. Staff and city manager candidates will be meeting in the Conference Centre until called for interviews and reconvening of the Special Meeting.

Closed (Executive) Session of the Addison City Council pursuant to: Section 551.074 Personnel Matters - Tex. Gov. Code, to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee - pertaining to: Conduct interviews for City Manager.

Reconvene into Regular Session persuant to: Section 551.074 Personnel Matters - Tex. Gov. Code, the City Council will reconvene into Regular Session to consider action, if any, discussed in Executive Session.

NOTE: The City Council reserves the right to meet in Executive Session closed to the public at any time in the course of this meeting to discuss matters listed on the agenda, as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, including §551.071 (private consultation with the attorney for the City); §551.072 (purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property); §551.074 (personnel or to hear complaints against personnel); §551.076 (deployment, or specific occasions for implementation of security personnel or devices); and §551.087 (economic development negotiations). Any decision held on such matters will be taken or conducted in Open Session following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
