Present and Discuss the Operations and Financial Reconciliation for Addison Kaboom Town! 2019.

 

BACKGROUND:
Addison Kaboom Town! is a major event that celebrates America's independence through a festival in Addison Circle Park, as well as privately hosted events and watch parties at restaurants, hotels and other establishments across Addison.  The event focuses on promoting tourism in Addison, and is a nationally-recognized event included in lists developed by the New York Times, People Magazine and more.  This one day event took place on July 3, 2019.

The Special Events and Finance Departments have prepared a report on the marketing, operational and financial outcomes of Addison Kaboom Town! 2019.  This was the first time Addison utilized its own point-of-sale software for food and beverage sales operations at this festival.  The new software provided detailed information on the sale of food and beverage throughout the event, allowing the Finance team to quickly and accurately compile the necessary information and provide reporting following the event.
