AGENDA CAPTION:

Present and Discuss the Council Calendar for June, July, August, and September 2018.

BACKGROUND:

Staff is requesting direction from Council regarding the meeting dates for regular Council meetings for June, July, August, and September 2018. Attached are the calendars for these months.

According to Chapter II, Article II, Division II, Section 2.46 of the Code of Ordinances, the City Council shall hold a regular meeting on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month commencing at 7:30 p.m.; provided, however, that such time may be changed as necessary through the posting of the new time on the agenda.

The second meeting in July has historically been canceled to provide more time for staff to prepare the City Manager's Proposed Budget.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff requests direction from Council.
