AGENDA CAPTION:

Consider Action to Approve a Resolution Appointing Gary Slagel to a Two Year Term on the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Board of Directors.

BACKGROUND:

The cities of University Park, Richardson and the towns of Highland Park and Addison share a representative on the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Board of Directors. Gary Slagel is currently serving in this role, with his is current term expiring on June 30, 2018. All four municipalities have concurred to reappoint Mr. Slagel for another two year term to expire July 1, 2020.

A bio for Mr. Slagel is attached.

RECOMMENDATION:

Administration recommends approval.
