AGENDA CAPTION:

Consider action on a Resolution approving an agreement for Municipal Court Fines and Fees Professional Collection Services with Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, as special counsel to perform all legal services necessary to collect delinquent fines, fees and court costs imposed by the Addison Municipal Court, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement.

BACKGROUND:

This agreement with Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, allows them to act as special counsel to perform all legal services necessary to collect delinquent fines, fees and court costs imposed by the Addison Municipal Court.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.
