AGENDA CAPTION:

Present, discuss, and consider action on a Resolution accepting the resignation of Board of Zoning Adjustments Place 5 and nominating a new member for a term ending on December 31, 2025.

BACKGROUND:

Board of Zoning Adjustments member, Tyler Sommers, was appointed to the Planning & Zoning Commission on March 26, 2024. As stated in the Charter, one may not hold two separate offices at the same time. Because of this, the Council will need to appoint a new member to fill the unexpired term on the Board of Zoning Adjustments. Tyler Sommers was last nominated by Council Member Marlin Willesen in December 2023. As such, Council Member Willesen will make a nomination to fill the unexpired term for Place 5.

RECOMMENDATION:

Administration recommends approval,
