AGENDA CAPTION:

Hold a public hearing, present, discuss, and consider action on a request for a Special Use Permit (SUP) for property located at 5100 Belt Line Road, Suite 800 and 812, that is currently zoned Planned Development (PD), through Ordinance No. O23-03, to allow a restaurant with the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption. Case 1905-SUP/5100 Belt Line Road, Suite 800 & 812 (III Forks).

BACKGROUND:
The Addison Planning and Zoning Commission, meeting in regular session on February 20, 2024, voted to recommend approval of a request for a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow a restaurant with the sale of alcohol for on-premises consumption on a property located at 5100 Belt Line Road, Suite 800 and 812, which is currently zoned Planned Development (PD), Ordinance No. O23-03, with the following condition: 
  • The applicant shall not use any terms or graphic depictions that relate to alcoholic beverages in any exterior signage. 
Voting Aye:  Barker, Chavez, Fansler, Smith
Voting Nay:  none
Absent:        Braun, Faircloth

RECOMMENDATION:
Administration recommends approval of the request, subject to the following condition:
  • The applicant shall not use any terms or graphic depictions that relate to alcoholic beverages in any exterior signage.
