Reception for the 2018 Addison Citizens Academy Graduates.

BACKGROUND:

Citizens Academy is a three-day instructional program designed to provide residents of Addison with a strong working knowledge of civic and municipal operations of the Town of Addison. The program consists of three Saturday sessions covering a variety of civic and local government topics including City Council roles and responsibilities, economic development, finance, infrastructure and development services, and many other Addison-focused municipal topics. Participants must attend all three days to receive their certificates. At the conclusion of the program, a reception is held during the work session of the City Council in honor of the graduates of the program.

Following the reception, graduates are presented with their certificates during the regular session of the City Council.
