Notice is hereby given that a quorum of the City Council of the Town of Addison, Texas may be in attendance at the 9th Annual Addison Circle Tree Lighting Ceremony at Beckert Park, 5004 Addison Circle on Friday, November 16, 2018 beginning at 6:30 pm. Mayor and Council Members will welcome the crowds and participate in the ceremonial Christmas Tree lighting. This is a social/community event featuring children’s activities, horse carriage rides, holiday shopping, refreshments, door prizes and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa and Mrs. Clause will arrive by the Town of Addison’s fire engine for all the children to enjoy. The George Bush Elementary choir will entertain the crowds, and assist in the lighting of the tree. Nonperishable food items will be collected and donated to the MetroCrest Services Food Bank at this event. The Town of Addison is one of several community sponsors of this Tree Lighting Ceremony.
