Notice is hereby given that a quorum of the Town of Addison City Council will be in attendance at the Texas Municipal League (TML) 2018 Annual Conference & Exhibition from Wednesday, October 10, 2018 to Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Fort Worth Convention Center, 1201 Houston Street, Fort Worth, Texas.
The event provides more than 2,300 elected and appointed city leaders and staff from across Texas with the opportunity to discuss issues and explore solutions to the challenges facing local governments. During the conference, city officials will hear presentations from keynote speakers who include Major Dan Rooney, USAF; Bertice Berry, Ph.D. - Sociologist, Author, Humorist; and Chet Garner, host & creator 'The Daytripper' PBS. Attendees also may attend educational sessions from the areas of infrastructure, finance, planning, safety and wellness, and community engagement.
More that 4,500 city officials, guests, and exhibitors attended the 2017 Texas Municipal League's Annual Conference & Exhibition. The League is a voluntary association of more than 1,150 Texas towns and cities. The Town of Addison is a member of the Texas Municipal League.
