AGENDA CAPTION:

Consider action on a Resolution approving the purchase of thirty-eight (38) Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) with annual inspections.

BACKGROUND:

During the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) budget process, the Addison Fire Department requested to replace thirty-eight (38) AEDs in Town facilities that have reached the end of their useful lives. This purchase was approved in the FY24 budget. This is a self-funded project from the Fire Department. The purchase will be paid for using Texas Ambulance Service Supplemental Payment Program (TASSPP) funds.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.
