AGENDA CAPTION:

Consider action on a Resolution approving the purchase of a medic ambulance from Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep pursuant to Quote No. Q3543-0001 from Frazer, LTD. in an amount not to exceed $463,804.00.

BACKGROUND:

The Addison Fire Department is scheduled to replace an ambulance that has reached the end of its useful life. The funding for the replacement of this item is available in the Capital Equipment Replacement Fund (CERF). The Addison Fire Department has received Quote No. Q3543-0001 from Frazer, Ltd in an amount not to exceed $463,804.00 to purchase a medic ambulance from Mac Haik Dodge Chrystler Jeep, in conformance with Frazer, Ltd.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.
