Consider Action on a Resolution Approving an Agreement Between the Town of Addison, Texas and Lynndom Holdings, LLC dba TriVAN Roofing for Roof Restoration Work at 4581 Claire Chennault Drive and 4551 Glenn Curtiss Drive at Addison Airport and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Agreement in an Amount Not to Exceed $170,170.

Airport Management seeks the Town Council's approval of a Resolution approving an agreement with Lynndom Holdings, LLC dba TriVAN Roofing for the restoration and overlay of the metal hangar roofs at the city-owned aeronautical facilities located at 4581 Claire Chennault Drive and 4551 Glenn Curtiss Drive at Addison Airport.  This is a full roof restoration using an overlay roof solution.  These restored roofs will be safer, more efficient, and will carry a 15-year ‘no dollar limit’ warranty.

TriVAN Roofing is a member of The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), an agency that bids out services and products for its members to provide the leverage to achieve better pricing on products, equipment, and services.  Two proposals were received (both members of TIPS), with TriVan Roofing being the low bidder.

This project is to be funded from the FY2023 Airport Capital Improvement Plan, where $270,000 has been budgeted and authorized for airport facility roof replacement.

Administration recommends approval.
