AGENDA CAPTION:

Present and Discuss a Progress Update on the Trails Master Plan.

BACKGROUND:

On February 13, 2020 Council approved a resolution for professional planning services with Moore Iacofano Goltsman, Inc. (MIG) to create a City Wide Trails Master Plan. The work being implemented to develop the plan has four phases, which are listed in the table below.

Phase	Duration
Phase I- Project Initiation	March 2020- May 2020
Phase 2 - Project Vision, Goals and Strategies	June 2020 - August 2020
Phase 3 - Trail Recommendations	September 2020 - November 2020
Phase 4 - Action Plan	December 2020 - February 2021

The project is currently in Phase 2 - Project Vision, Goals and Strategies. Staff has requested that MIG make a presentation to update Council regarding their progress and findings in order to gather feedback from Council.

Infromation only, no action required.
